Thermo Electron has been named Frost & Sullivan’s Life Science Instrument Company of the Year for achievement in the global healthcare and life sciences industries. Frost and Sullivan cited Thermo’s success with its new integrated commercial strategy, which is designed to promote cross-selling among its product offerings.

“[Thermo] can offer researchers virtually everything needed to outfit a lab, from equipment to prepare and analyse samples to software that manages all data,” said Sinead Igoe, industry analyst with Frost & Sullivan. “As today’s research environment presents increasing productivity, quality and regulatory challenges for our customers,” said Marijn E. Dekkers, President and Chief Executive Officer of Thermo Electron, “we are proud to offer complete solutions that help [scientists] attain better results, faster.”
