American and Swiss companies join forces

LCGC Europe eNews

Swiss bioscience company INTEGRA Biosciences and American liquid handling company Viaflo have signed agreements that will see the two companies combine. The new group will be called INTEGRA Viaflo Holding AG and according to the companies, will be active across world markets under the brand INTEGRA.

The companies report that their combining will provide strong mutual benefits: Viaflo providing INTEGRA Biosciences with access to the US market, as well as its line of hand-held pipetting systems and plastic disposables. The Swiss company in turn will give them access to the European and global markets. This move follows a year long strategic marketing and distribution partnership between the two companies.

As a result of constant growth achieved over recent years, INTEGRA Biosciences has announced that it will also move from its current location into a larger new modern industrial building in Zizers, Switzerland.
