LabLogic Systems has been chosen by the Department of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering at Addenbroke's Hospital in Cambridge, UK to supply the equipment to support the department’s metabolite analysis system for early-phase PET studies.

According to a statement from Professor Peter Jarritt, the hospital’s clinical director of medical physics and clinical engineering, what stood out about the company was that "they were able to offer a comprehensive service bringing together all the key components we needed. As well as the hardware and software, they provided the expertise in qualification and validation for a GLP environment and coordinated all aspects of the project — installation, training and follow-up."

The company will be supplying a radio-HPLC detector, a HPLC system from Agilent and a well counter, sourced by the company and controlled by its radio chromatography software.

The company’s radio-HPLC detector has been developed specifically for the low-level Beta-counting necessary for studying the metabolism of novel PET radio-pharmaceuticals.
