Amanda Belunis
is a PhD candidate in the department of chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). She has a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry from Towson University. She has experience working with instrumentation, sample preparation techniques, and method development for a wide range of applications. Her current research project focuses on method development using liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) for the investigation of PFAS in various environmental sources.

Cole Strattman
joined PerkinElmer as a field applications scientist supporting the Northeast. Cole works with the applied segments with a focus on the markets related to LC and LC/MS instrumentation. Cole comes from a 14-year career at Rhodes Technologies, where he was working as a scientist responsible for research and development. Cole has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Rhode Island and is experienced in method development and validation for GC, HPLC, and LCMS using different instruments along with various sample preparation techniques.
