Event Overview:
Karl Fischer titration is one of the most widely used techniques for accurate moisture determination, yet even experienced analysts encounter frustrating issues such as drift, poor repeatability, or disappearing end points. If you routinely perform Karl Fischer moisture analysis in your laboratory, this focused 1-hour webcast will help you identify, troubleshoot, and resolve the most common analytical problems that affect data quality. The session provides practical guidance you can apply immediately to improve the accuracy, precision, and reliability of your Karl Fischer titrations.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Gain an overview of the Karl Fischer reaction as well as volumetric and coulometric methods.
- Understand drift, sample handling, optimal weight, sample solvent and capacity, and calibration.
- Recognize common issues such as poor accuracy, poor replicates, disappearing end points, and over/under-titrating.
Who Should Attend:
- Analytical chemists
- QC analysts
- Laboratory scientists
