A Strategic Assessment Tool for Modernizing Buffer Preparation in Biologics Facilities

A paradigm shift in bioproduction buffer preparation is on the horizon. While some facilities maintain made-in-house operations, some leverage a combination of different buffer strategies and technologies, like in-line dilution, to optimize their efficiency. A multi-criteria assessment framework is introduced here, allowing users to evaluate the mix of buffer strategies based on multiple criteria, which can be prioritized and weighted according to their organizational preferences.
