Akina Nara

AkinaNara is a Lecturer in the Department of Forensic Medicine at Tohoku Medical and Pharmaceutical University School of Medicine (Japan). Her fields of expertise are forensic medicine and forensic toxicology, and her research focuses on phenethylamine, including its relationship with the postmortem interval as a putrefactive amine and its potential formation in urine under different storage conditions after collection. Nara graduated from Tohoku Medical and Pharmaceutical University in 2005 and completed her doctoral program at Tokyo Medical and Dental University in 2011, receiving a Ph.D. in medicine.
