In this application we show how to achieve the best separation and sensitivity for insulin UHPLC-MS analysis by using formic acid as a weak ion pairing agent.

• Transferring from HPLC to UHPLC comes with both benefits and costs. • Making the transition more predictable can boost efficiency. • Informed equipment and procedural decisions can combat transfer challenges.

We recently introduced a new series of UHPLC columns with a particle size of 1.6 µm. Here we explain how to transfer an existing HPLC method to a new UHPLC method using polyphenols as an example.

Here we applied our newly developed UHPLC C18 and C30 columns to oligonucleotide analysis.
