Jim Luong, PhD, FRSC (UK) is Fellow in Analytical Science, Core R&D at Dow Canada. Jim is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). As a practicing scientist, Jim is passionate with separation sciences, particularly gas chromatography. He actively engages in column stationary phase development, which is critical for high resolution chromatography, the development of hyphenated techniques including multi-dimensional and comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography, and ultra-trace analysis. Jim is a member of the advisory board of RSC’s Analytical Methods. Jim was named three consecutive years (2020-2022) in the Powerlist published by Analytical Scientist.
