With over 25 years of experience in mass spectrometry, Dr. Linda Monaci is Acting Director at the Italian National Research Council’s (CNR) Institute of Biomembranes, Bioenergetics and Molecular Biotechnologies (IBIOM), Bari. Italy where, she leads a team composed of Dr. Anna Luparelli and Dr. Laura Quintieri working on the development of fast MS-based methods including DART-MS technology. She first joined the CNR in 2008 following a period spent at IRMM (Institute of Reference Materials and Measurements) of the European Commission’s joint research center in Geel, Belgium. In 2021, Dr. Monaci became Research Director of the CNR Institute of Sciences of Food Production (ISPA), heading the Mass Spectrometry Lab.
