Millipore Collaborates with Agilent for Protein and DNA Research

Millipore (Billerica, Massachusetts) and Agilent Technologies (Santa Clara, California) have formed a collaboration to develop chromatin immunoprecipitation kits for epigenetics research. The immunoprecipitation technique reportedly helps researchers to understand the relationship between DNA and the proteins that impact gene regulation. The collaboration is intended to combine Millipore’s expertise in antibodies, immunoprecipitation kits, and reagents with Agilent’s microarrays and data analysis capabilities.
