The New Upchurch Scientific® VHP-550 & VHP-555 Pre-column Filters make it easy to protect and limit the replacement of your sub-2 μm, core-shell and other UHPLC columns. Because of smaller flow path diameters and greater performance demands in UHPLC, particles can cause a blockage that limits the column lifetime, negatively impacting chromatography. The VHP Pre-column Filters are rated to 15,000 psi (1,034 bar) and effectively protect your column by capturing those particles down to the sub-micron level, preventing them from moving downstream.
