Phenomenex Inc. (Torrance, California), will be holding a workshop on "Recent Advances in Chiral Chromatography" at the 2009 Pittsburgh Conference in Chicago. The session is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11 in Room S404bc at McCormick Place. Speakers at this chiral workshop include Dr. Bezhan Chankvetadze, founder of SepaServe GmbH, Eric Francotte of Novartis, Hongfei Yue of Bristol-Myers Squibb, Elin Ulrich of the FDA, and Lu Zeng of Takeda San Diego. Topics will include new developments in chiral stationary phases, enantiomer validation in drug discovery and development, chiral purification, high-throughput SFC chiral column screening, and the discovery of single enantiomers. The application of enantiomer research in the environmental industry will also be reviewed, along with harmful effects to humans with exposure.
High-Throughput 4D TIMS Method Accelerates Lipidomics Analysis
April 25th 2024Ultrahigh-pressure liquid chromatography coupled to high-resolution mass spectrometry (UHPLC-HRMS) had been previously proposed for untargeted lipidomics analysis, but this updated approach was reported by the authors to reduce run time to 4 min.
