Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, Massachusetts) has agreed to acquire Biolab, an Australian analytical instruments and life science consumables distributor, for $120 million (US).

Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, Massachusetts) has agreed to acquire Biolab, an Australian analytical instruments and life science consumables distributor, for $120 million (US). Thermo Fisher Scientific planned to have completed the transaction on April 30. The company will be integrated into Thermo’s Laboratory Products and Services Segment. Biolab distributes products for sample preparation, chromatography, molecular spectroscopy, molecular imaging, and proteomic and genomic analysis.
