Company Description

Tosoh Bioscience LLC is a major supplier of chromatography products worldwide, particularly to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and polymer industries. The company is a division of Tosoh Corporation, a global chemical company with headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Japan. Tosoh's portfolio of over 500 TSKgel® and TOYOPEARL® products encompasses all common modes of liquid chromatography. We manufacture analytical HPLC columns and provide bulk chromatographic resins for the purification of biopharmaceutical drugs in commercial manufacturing processes. Ca⁺⁺Pure-HA™, a hydroxyapatite resin for biomolecule purification, is a unique resin from Tosoh in that it is both the ligand and base bead. Tosoh Bioscience LLC offers dedicated systems for polymer characterization, the EcoSEC GPC System and the EcoSEC High Temperature GPC System.

Major Products/Services

Tosoh Bioscience offers a comprehensive line of TSKgel prepacked columns for each of the major chromatography modes, process development tools, as well as TOYOPEARL, TSKgel, and Ca⁺⁺Pure-HA bulk resins for laboratory scale purifications and process chromatography.

Prepacked columns containing TSKgel media are designed for the analysis of proteins, peptides, other biopolymers, low molecular weight compounds, and organic soluble polymers. The packings in the columns are either silica-based or polymer-based material, in particle sizes ranging from 2 µm to 30 µm. Columns are available in analytical through semi-preparative sizes, in stainless steel, PEEK®, or glass.

A variety of screening tools composed of TOYOPEARL and TSKgel process media are available as an additional tool for convenient scale-up. In addition, bulk media volumes of <1 L are offered for process development.

The EcoSEC GPC System and the EcoSEC High Temperature GPC System are dedicated GPC instruments developed specifically for polymer analysis. These all-in-one systems deliver top performance, reliability, and superior results.
