Tosoh Corporation (Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania) announced that as part of strategic initiatives to take advantage of high-growth bioscience-related markets, ?Scientific Instruments Division? will be renamed ?Tosoh Bioscience Division.?
The company hopes that this will better convey the company's current activities and future course in bioseparation and diagnostics fields. In 2003 all affiliated scientific and diagnostic system related companies in North America and Europe were unified successfully under the Tosoh Bioscience brand. To improve Tosoh?s global market position the re-branding will now cover Japan and operations being launched throughout Asia.
