Jennifer Field

Jennifer Field has a Ph.D. in geochemistry from the Colorado School of Mines and is currently a Professor at Oregon State University in the Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology.She is a pioneer in PFAS with research beginning in 1995 when all PFAS were unknown (no analytical standards) and has discovered PFAS in complex mixtures and groundwater.Her analytical methods cover nonvolatile to volatile PFAS for matrices including wastewater, air, landfill leachate/gas, and materials.She served as an Executive and Associate Editor for Environmental Science and Technology (2008-2023). She received the Agilent Thought Leader Award in 2023.
