Lidija Kenjeric is a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Copenhagen, Denmark where she works closely with the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) for veterinary drugs and the European Reference Laboratory for processing contaminants. (ERL-PC). She obtained her PhD at BOKU University, Vienna, in the group of Prof. Rudolf Krska, where her research has focused on improving efficiency, and optimizing the development and validation of high-throughput LC–MS/MS and HRMS methods for multi-class analysis of contaminants, including mycotoxins, plant toxins, pesticides, and veterinary drug residues in food and environmental matrices. Her work is strongly aligned with regulatory requirements, ensuring that developed methods are robust, practical, and compliant with EU standards. She is also engaged in promoting sustainability in analytical chemistry by evaluating the carbon footprint of LC–MS workflows. In recognition of her contributions, she received the Analytical Chemist Award Austria in 2024.
