Agilent Technologies (Santa Clara, California, USA) has purchased the supercritical fluid chromatography company Aurora SFC Systems, Inc (Redwood, California, USA).
Agilent Technologies (Santa Clara, California, USA) has purchased the supercritical fluid chromatography company Aurora SFC Systems, Inc (Redwood, California, USA).
Aurora and Agilent have been partners for the past two years. Aurora’s technology is embedded into several Agilent systems and is available as part of an upgrade option. Acquiring Aurora SFC assets enables Agilent to offer these products as fully integrated, single-vendor SFC solutions.
Patrick Kaltenbach, vice president and general manager of Agilent’s liquid phase separations business, commented: “We valued the partnership we had with Aurora SFC Systems and are excited to bring this technology and expertise into Agilent.
