Biotage (Uppsala, Sweden) has opened a new manufacturing unit in Ystrad Mynach, South Wales, with the support of the Welsh Government. As part of the expansion at the South Wales site, an instrument-manufacturing unit has been moved from Boston, USA. Thanks to a grant from the Welsh Government, the company secured the use of a 825 square metre facility near to their existing premises and converted the area into a manufacturing line and offices.
