Brian Rohrback, PhD, president of Infometrix Inc., in Bothell Washington, will receive the International Society of Automation’s (ISA) Excellence in Analytical Technical Innovation Award, endowed by the society’s Analysis Division, at the 54th Annual ISA Honors and Awards Gala on September 24 at the Newport Beach Hotel & Spa in Newport Beach, California.
Rohrback is receiving the award for advancing the use of chemometrics in gas chromatography alignment software to reduce maintenance, improve precision, and simplify method development. The award recognizes an individual who has played a critical role in the conception, design, or implementation of an innovative product, process, or service in the analytical technology field.
ISA’s Honors & Awards Gala is an annual event honoring individuals for the contributions to and advancement of automation across all industries. Last year’s gala was attended by more than 250 guests from around the world.
