EMD Millipore and W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc. Settle Patent Infringement Dispute
Patent infringement disputes between EMD Millipore (Billerica, Massachusetts) and W.L. Gore and Associates Inc. (Delaware, USA) have been settled in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

Patent infringement disputes between EMD Millipore (Billerica, Massachusetts) and W.L. Gore and Associates Inc. (Delaware, USA) have been settled in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
Under the settlement terms, Gore will take a royalty-bearing license under U.S. Patent Nos. 7,293,744 and 7,927,316 and U.S. Reissue No. RE41,169 relating to the products disputed.
Andrew Bulpin, Executive Vice President for EMD Millipore Process Solutions, said: "Our customers rely on us to be technology leaders for innovation in biopharmaceutical production and, as such, EMD Millipore will continue to vigorously defend its intellectual property."
