FEI Signs Shimadzu for Japanese Distribution

FEI Co. ( Hillsboro, Oregon), a manufacturer of high-resolution imaging and analysis technology, has signed Shimadzu Corp (Kyoto, Japan), a leading provider of analytical instrumentation, as its sales agent in Japan. Osamu Ando, the general manager of Shimadzu's Analytical and Measuring Instruments Division, said that adding FEI's instruments would add to Shimadzu's current product offering and benefit its customers by giving them a single source for all their analytical measurement and imaging needs.
