The Laura data management system from LabLogic Systems (Sheffield, UK) now includes an interface for control of the Acquity UPLC system from Waters Corporation (Milford, Massachusetts). The two companies had been working on the interface since signing a collaboration agreement earlier this year. According to LabLogic, users of the ultrahigh-pressure Acquity system will find the interface familiar as it uses the system’s console. The companies plan for further development of the software to control Waters’ Alliance HPLC systems; release is planned for later this year.
