Markes International Wins Queen’s Award for Enterprise
Markes International (Llantrisant, UK) has been awarded a 2015 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade decreed by Her Majesty The Queen of Great Britain, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, David Cameron. The awards are announced each year on the Queen’s birthday, 21 April.

Founded in 1997, Markes International has shown sustained growth in exports that, according to the company, account for over 85% of total turnover. Alun Cole, Managing Director of Markes International, said “It is an honour to be recognized by Her Majesty the Queen for the strength of our export business, and I believe it reflects many years of hard work and dedication from everyone at Markes.”
