PerkinElmer, Inc. Acquires Arnel, Inc.

PerkinElmer, Inc. (Waltham, MA) announced the acquisition of Arnel Inc. (Parlin, NJ), a provider of custom engineered solutions for gas chromatography applications in the petrochemical, food and beverage, and industrial hygiene markets. According to PerkinElmer, the combined chromatography capabilities will help the their customers to develop cleaner, petroleum-based products to help reduce their impact on the environment, as well as assist in manufacturing more cost effective petroleum products.
