Major Products/Services
Advances in chromatographic analysis have been aided by proprietary improvements to the properties of Polymicro Technologies synthetic fused capillary tubing and techniques for handling, cutting, cleaving, and laser machining. Molex manufactures Polymicro high-strength, high-temperature, flexible fused-silica capillary tubing; light-guiding capillary; flow cells; square capillary tubing; windowed capillary tubes; UV transparent capillary; multimode, step-index fused silica optical fiber with polyimide, silicone, acrylate, and fluoropolymer buffers; solarization-resistant optical fiber for deep UV; broad spectrum fiber; IR waveguides; fiber optic cables and assemblies; silica and quartz rods; precision cleaved-to-length tubing; multi-lumen tubing; and micro-components including laser machined fiber tips, telecommunications ferrules and sleeves, and cleaved capillary tubing.
Facility
Polymicro Technologies products are manufactured at the Molex facility in Phoenix, Arizona. The state-of-the art facility is ISO 9001 and 14001 certified and features a glass laboratory, draw towers, sophisticated testing, and laser machining capabilities.
