Shodex is our HPLC product brand name and they have been manufactured by Showa Denko K.K. in Japan since 1973. Showa Denko K.K. is one of Japan's largest chemical companies. Our strength in polymer synthesis led to the production of many unique and durable polymer-based columns. The golden-mechanical fish is a symbol of fast and smooth liquid chromatography analysis.

Showa Denko America, Inc. based in New York, New York, provides technical and sales support for Shodex HPLC columns for customers and distributors in North and South America. Our stock point in New York allows for fast delivery in the US. Working together with our laboratory in Japan, we support customers' analytical needs. Our laboratory instrumentation has been upgraded and now we have more LC applications performed with higher sensitivity detectors such as multi-angle light scattering and mass spectrometry detectors.
