LEAP Technologies and PerkinElmer have entered into a resale agreement that will allow the company to incorporate PerkinElmer's UHPLC and HPLC technology into the front-end automation systems it provides. According to a statement from the company this will allow biotech and pharmaceutical customers to derive additional insight into their data.

As well as PerkinElmer's UHPLC and HPLC systems, the deal will cover the company's chromatography data systems software packages and the chromatography system’s associated consumables.

In the statement, the company also highlighted that this arrangement will enable PerkinElmer to provide automation solutions to markets beyond their traditional customer base, including environmental, food safety and forensics.
