Yafeng Guan is a professor at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Science; the director of the department of analytical chemistry and micro-instrumentation at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics; a member of the Scientific Committee on Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; vice-chairman of the Chinese Association of Analytical Instrumentation; and a standing member of the Chinese Society on Chromatography.
