Remarkable bionic wrench

This adjustable spanner tool combines with the ease of use of a pair of pliers.

By gripping the bolt/nut on all 6 flat sides, the stress and strain on the corners of the bolt are removed. This, coupled with the superior gripping action of the jaws, allows you to complete your work without the spanner slipping and damaging the bolt. The remarkable design of the Bionic Wrench multiplies your hand's gripping force so you can tighten/loosen bolts more easily. You can develop ratchet-like speed by fully turning the Bionic Wrench, releasing the grip while still on the bolt, repositioning the wrench and then re-tightening your grip.

Binary watch with a difference

No ordinary binary wrist watch — it's water resistant!

The Lightmare model by THE ONE has a unique design as it displays time and date with 28 red LEDs, has a solid stainless steel case and a PU rubber band.

Not only that, but the watch is also water resistant to a depth of up to 150 feet.

The LEDs in the inner circle represent the hours at the same position as an analogue watch. The outer circle of LEDs represents the minutes in increments of 5 minutes and the small LEDs at the centre represent the single minutes in between each 5 minutes. The watch in the photograph shows the time 4.18 am.

Ease away stress with pulse sensor

Had a stressful day in the lab? Then the StressEraser could be for you.

Using an infrared fingertip pulse sensor and advanced algorithm software the StressEraser measures and displays the real-time effect of the vagus nerve (the primary parasympathetic nerve) on your consecutive heart periods (CHP). From beat to beat, this CHP effect is shown as a series of waves on a backlit LCD. As you watch or listen to your CHP waves, the StressEraser focuses your mind and guides your breathing to synchronize with a calming

BreathWave pattern.

Use the StressEraser before you go to sleep each night, and after 15 minutes pacifying-nerve activity should increase and you should feel deeply relaxed. Your body should sustain this deep relaxation throughout the night as you sleep; helping you recharge for the day ahead.

StressEraser's manufacturer claims that after two weeks of 15 minute night-time sessions, you can expect to feel calmer and more energetic during the day.
