Latin America has become the third most popular destination for outsourcing service sector jobs. Industrial development has also been fostered by foreign investment in pharmaceuticals, biopharma, and other industries.

The Latin American separations market is expected to post solid growth in the next few years fueled by applications in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food/agriculture, and oil and gas industries. HPLC and GC are the largest technology segments in the Latin American separations market.
