Pauline Griffeuille is an intern in pharmacy. In November 2020, she started a PhD thesis in analytical chemistry. The main objective of her work is to develop analytical tools based on a PESI-MS/MS approach for applications in forensic, clinical, and occupational toxicology. This thesis is supervised by Sylvain Dulaurent and Franck Saint-Marcoux.
The main objectives of this study were to develop a method for the measurement of cocaine derivatives in oral fluid by coupling a probe electrospray ionization (PESI) source with quadrupole time-of-flight (QTOF). The three cocaine derivatives considered were: benzoylecgonine (BZE), cocaine, and ecgonine-methylester (EME).
In this study, a probe electrospray ionization coupled to mass spectrometry (PESI-MS) method for ultra-rapid determination of MtF in plasma by isotope dilution was developed.
