Bruker Daltonics has announced the establishment of Bruker LabMate, a life-science mass spectrometry joint venture between the company and LabMate Asia, to enhance customer support for the rapidly growing Indian market.

The new company now has customer support and technical expertise hubs throughout India in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai.
"Adding to our training and applications strength in India is the logical next move to ensure our customers succeed as quickly as possible in this very exciting and dynamic scientific community" said Dr Ian Sanders, executive vice president of the company in a statement.
The move will develop the seven year partnership with LabMate Asia - Bruker’s Indian mass spectrometry distributor - forming a new company with established business and customer care teams, which will be a majority-owned Bruker company.
