LEAP Technologies (Carrboro, North Carolina) and Quantum Analytics (Foster City, California) have announced a co-marketing partnership designed to improve chromatography and mass spectrometer systems, including new developments in front-end automation. The instrument suppliers intend to coordinate technical staffs and sales forces and plan to offer complete automated analytical systems. Quantum Analytics is a value-added distributor of analytical systems such as thermal desorption, pyrolysis, and purge-and-trap systems and specializes in renting and leasing. LEAP Technologies offers chromatography-related sample preparation and autosampler instrumentation for applications such as food, environmental, and pharmaceutical product testing.
