Markes International Celebrates Queen’s Award for Enterprise

Markes International (Llantrisant, Wales) has celebrated the official presentation of its Queen’s Award for Enterprise from an official party including the Lord-Lieutenant of Mid‑Glamorgan, Mrs Kate Thomas, and Mr Roy Noble. This follows on from an audience with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace in July 2015. The event was also used to officially open the latest extension to the company’s premises at the Gwaun Elai Medi-Science Campus in Llantrisant, which will initially be used to accommodate the company’s expanding R&D arm.
