YouTube chromatography channel

Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched a YouTube channel dedicated to chromatography videos. The first two videos uploaded provide educational information on the mechanics of GC and sample preparation.

The How GC Columns Work tutorial uses an example application on the analysis of neutral and acidic drugs using the company’s TraceGOLD GC columns to demonstrate how low bleed, high reproducibility and inertness can provide confidence in analytical results.

Through the sample preparation video, featured here, the company reports how the use of SPE can achieve a cleaner baseline and improve data processing leading to greater confidence, increased speed and reduced cost of analysis.
