Accessory Products for SPE Using 96-Well Plates
To accommodate high-throughput analysis, analysts are using 96-well plates, as well as some unfamiliar accessory products. This column describes these products and tells readers how to use them in their laboratories.
Solid-phase extraction has progressed from using individual columns and cartridges to high-throughput 96-well plates. As a result of this transition, chemists must identify a new source of related products for sample preparation in this format, and these products often are made by unfamiliar manufacturers that sell outside the chromatography market. This "Sample Prep Perspectives" column provides information about the types of accessory products available to manually perform 96-well sample preparation and support the transition from single-column to high-throughput techniques.
