We are very familiar with the tasks performed by laboratory technicians in sample preparation. Working with this knowledge, we have invented unique vials and closures that enhance productivity in the laboratory while making sample handling safer. With more than 30 years of experience in the analytical market, we are a leading supplier of innovative and patented products in the world today. The recent merger of J.G. Major Products/Services

J.G. Finneran offers a complete range of glass and plastic sampling vials, closures, Snap Top Caps™, limited-volume inserts, Snap Racks™, and accessories. Major innovations include:

  • Interlocked™ Vial/Insert is a fused glass design comprised of either a 100 µL or 300 µL insert permanently interlocked into a variety of vial designs. Vial and insert are fused together to eliminate insert movement, which could cause needle breakage. The flange of the insert also helps to further eliminate the chance of needle misguidance and needle breakage. It is available in the following neck finishes: 9 mm RAM, standard and wide mouth screw thread, crimp style or Snap Ring™, and the patented Snap Seal™ finish. They are sold in 100 pack quantities, consisting of four individually shrink-wrapped trays of 25 pieces. Lab personnel can open each pack as needed, without opening and exposing all 100 pieces prior to actual usage. Available in both clear and amber, the Interlocked vials can be used in combination with all standard closures, snap top caps, Poly Crimp™ Seals, and aluminum seals.

  • Patented 96-Well Multi-Tier™ Microtiter Plate System is an improvement on existing 96-well systems. It is a modular, reusable system featuring a base plate capable of securing 0.5-, 1.0-, 1.5-, or 2.0 mL conical glass, flat-bottom, and polypropylene vials. The vented design of the base plate assures uniform heating and cooling when immersed in a water bath. The cover locks the liner in place and prevents vial pullout. A variety of sealing mats also are available.

  • Snap Seal™ Vial is the only patented crimp vial available in the industry that fits all crimp-style closure systems. It can be used with the Poly Crimp™ Seal, which is a patented 11 mm polymer seal that can be securely crimped on any crimp-style vial, using a standard metal crimping tool, or simply snapping on the vial by hand.
