Ralph N. Adams Award

Norman Dovichi, of the University of Notre Dame (South Bend, Indiana) will be presiding over this Wednesday afternoon session.

This afternoon session is a continuation of today's morning session 1010 "Advances in Fuels and Petrochemical Analysis I". Eugene Barry of the University of Massachusetts Lowell will be presiding.

An innovative oral session called Liquid Chromatography: Stationary Phase Architecture chaired by Richard A. Henry from Supleco/Sigma Aldrich (Bellefonte, Pennsylvania) begins at 8:00 a.m. today in room 311C.

Agilent has announced that their Science and Technology Symposium 2012 will feature a mobile trade show that will run from 20 March until the 12 June.

The results are in for 2012 LCGC Awards, and we are proud to announce the winners: the Lifetime Achievement in Chromatography Award is granted to Lloyd Snyder, and the Emerging Leader in Chromatography Award is presented to Emily Hilder. In achieving this honor, they join a group of illustrious past winners (Tables I and II).

GC Technology Forum

Gas chromatography (GC) continues to be a workhorse technique in the analytical laboratory, but users now face choices of upgrading their systems to newer time-saving technologies or possibly switching to hydrogen carrier gas. Participants in this Technology Forum are Eric Denoyer and Rebecca Veeneman of Agilent Technologies, Jim Luong of Dow Chemical Canada, and Matthew S. Klee of JAS Inc.
